ABOUT

DAMARIS is a four-piece alternative rock band in Austin, TX, fronted by vocalist Damaris Swails. Their sound is reminiscent of 90s and early 2000s rock, built around powerful, commanding female vocals.

Swails met guitarist James Warren in 2017 while working on her debut EP Bound to Break, and the two have been playing together ever since. In 2022, DAMARIS released their first full-length album Burn It All, a record about self-discovery and unapologetic honesty. The following year they released a three-song EP titled Sonic Rodeo Diary.

 

Most recently, the band released their latest single Just Like.

 

The lineup includes Swails and Warren along with Alex Wilhelm on drums and Will Lord on bass.
