DAMARIS is a 5-piece rock band based in Austin, TX, led by front woman, Damaris Swails. Vocal focused and heavily inspired by 90's and early 2000's rock, DAMARIS has drawn comparisons to Alanis Morissette, Janis Joplin, Hole, and Garbage. 

 

In 2017, Swails met current guitarist, James Warren in hometown, Las Vegas, while working on her debut EP, "Bound to Break" and added him to the band. 

Fast forward to 2022 as one of the rising pioneers for women musicians in Las Vegas, DAMARIS, released their first full-length album, “Burn It All,” featuring songs about finding yourself and being unapologetic about it.   

Since relocating to Austin, TX in 2022, DAMARIS added Austin Natives, Tony Gonzales (drums), Jonny Hovious (bass), and Alex Ramirez (keys). 

DAMARIS is set to release a three song EP, "Sonic Rodeo Diary" winter of 2022.
